Why Petsitters exists

I am Sunny, I live in Baden and grew up with animals. I know what it feels like to hand your own dog or cat to a stranger. I founded Petsitters to offer pet care the way I would want it myself: in your home, on your plan, with a person you know, and with a photo after every visit.

How the network works

Petsitters is not a portal anyone can sign up to. I meet every carer in person, check experience and reliability, train them in our routines (meet-and-greet, keys, emergency plan, photo updates), and they are covered by our liability insurance. You get one fixed carer from your area whom you meet at the free meet-and-greet. That same person comes, every time. If they are ever unavailable, we tell you early and honestly and suggest a replacement you meet beforehand.

What we stand for

• Calm. No pack, no van, no stress. Your pet in its surroundings, with one fixed carer.
• Precision. Food, medication, times, rules: exactly as you show us, no interpretation.
• Reliability. A confirmed appointment is an appointment. Seven days a week.
• Honesty. If something does not fit, say a dog that is aggressive towards strangers, we say so at the meet-and-greet.

Legal and insurance

Petsitters is a registered business for the care of animals at the client’s home and carries liability insurance. We do not offer boarding in our own premises, which would require a separate permit under the Austrian Animal Welfare Act. Alongside Petsitters, Sunny runs GoodMove Cleaning, the same-day cleaning and home concierge service for the same region. Many clients combine both, for example cat sitting plus getting the house ready before they return.
