Terms and Right of Withdrawal
Terms and Conditions and Right of Withdrawal of comcraft Solutions e.U., 2500 Baden bei Wien, Austria, brand Petsitters. Full provider details are in the Impressum. Version: October 2026. The German version is legally binding.
1. Scope
These terms apply to all Petsitters services: dog walking, dog sitting, house sitting and visits for cats and small animals at the client’s home. We do not board animals at our own premises.
2. Contract
You enquire via WhatsApp, phone or email. The contract is concluded when we confirm your booking in writing (WhatsApp or email). Before the first visit we hold a free, no-obligation meet-and-greet at your home.
3. Prices and payment
The prices on our pricing page at the time of booking apply. As a small business under Austrian VAT rules we do not charge VAT, all prices are final prices. Travel costs outside the core area are stated before you book. You receive an invoice after each service, payable within 7 days by bank transfer.
4. Cancellation by the client
Single appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start. After that we charge 50 % of the agreed price. Multi-day house-sitting bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before the start, after that we charge 30 % of the agreed price. Your statutory right of withdrawal under section 6 is not affected.
5. Cancellation by Petsitters
If we cannot keep a confirmed appointment, we inform you as early as possible and, where possible, recommend another professional pet sitter. If that is not possible, no payment is due for the affected appointment.
6. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Because contracts with us are concluded via WhatsApp, phone or email, you as a consumer have the right under the Austrian Distance Selling Act (FAGG) to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise this right, send us a clear statement (email to hallo@petsitters.at, WhatsApp to +43 664 88948975 or letter to the address in the Impressum). You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. Sending the statement before the 14 days expire is sufficient.
If you want the service to start within the withdrawal period, you confirm this expressly when booking. If you then withdraw, you pay a proportionate amount for the services provided up to that point. Once the service has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal expires (§ 18 para. 1 no. 1 FAGG).

7. Your cooperation
You inform us fully about your pet’s health, behaviour, medication and particularities, your vet and an emergency contact. You provide food, leash, carrier and other equipment. Dogs must be chipped and registered. You hand over keys at the meet-and-greet, we store them separately from address data and return them when the service ends.
8. Veterinary emergencies
In an emergency we contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you or your emergency contact, we may take your pet to your vet or the nearest available vet. You as the pet owner bear the cost of treatment.
9. Liability
We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for personal injury, in accordance with the law. We are not liable for property damage caused by slight negligence, to the extent permitted by law. For damage your pet causes to third parties, you as the keeper are liable under § 1320 ABGB.
10. Privacy
How we process your data is explained in our privacy policy (German).
11. Applicable law
Austrian law applies. For consumers the jurisdiction rules of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act apply. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
